We are offering top grade electronic overload relays that have distinct characteristics. In these products, the bimetals are not present. As a result, they lack thermal memory. In most circumstances, electronic overload relays must be reset following a trip condition. Neither will resume until the cool-down period has passed (trip-free feature). This trip-free function, however, is ineffective if the engine is shut off rather than tripping under overload conditions. The cool-down period of electronic overload relays allows searching for corrective action before attempting a start.
